I would like to welcome Finis Inc as one of our corporate supporters.

FINIS was founded by Olympic Gold Medal Swimmer Pablo Morales in 1993. Pablo's influence as one of the world's greatest butterfliers led to the development of the Monofin. Thus, our tradition of providing high-quality and creative technical products to the swimming world began. We have worked with an extensive list of coaches and swimmers over the past 16 years to create products that optimize training and competitive performance, resulting in FINIS being regarded today as the Worldwide Leader in Technical Swimming Development.

FINIS is a Latin word that signifies "the end" or "grand finale." It holds symbolic meaning to the company as it not only contains the word 'fin' (our first product), but the word FINIS also represents the true nature of why we, as swimmers, undergo such rigorous training schedules. We continue to strive and improve upon such an unnatural, but immensely rewarding sport.

FINIS is, and will always remain, whole heartedly committed to the discovery and development of innovative swimming products that enable athletes to meet that "end" or "grand finale" of a finish line that we as competitors and individuals set as a benchmark to become bigger and better than who we are today.

Heading up to Cary NC for the New Wave Fall States Meet this weekend. Nervous about it. I am swimming the 200 Free, 100 Butterfly (not my favorite), 50 Breast and 50 Free. There are going to be over 850 swimmers up there. Heard it is a lot of fun.

August 2008 - I called a friend of mine whose parents own Ferguson Box Company and asked for donation of collection boxes. She was very helpful and donated a bunch of boxes (see their link on the corporate support page).
